“No One” ZINE - ISSUE #1 (2019)

“No One is a paper-and-staple tapestry of oddball art and offbeat stories. It’s an exploration and celebration of colorful lives led working in the creative industry.”

In early 2019 I asked for Nemo Design’s blessing to start a zine for the agency. I carried the torch for the No One zine for four years. Many months were spent tapping shoulders, wrangling submissions, creating my own submissions, editing the layout, designing the cover, and offering inspiration starters for this piece. See below for just a sampling of the spreads that I was personally involved with. This first issue was themed around Nostalgia and collaboration.

“No One” QUARANZINE - ISSUE #2 (2020)

“We created the second issue of No One zine during April / early May, 2020. It reflects our somewhat self-obsessed experience with new ideas like “pandemic” and “quarantine.” It does not reflect the great awakening that happened with the murder of George Floyd on May 25, when our hearts, minds and energy turned toward racial justice. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement.”

This issue will forever serve as a time capsule from the early days of the Covid 19 pandemic.

“No One” ZINE - ISSUE #3 (2021)

Similar to the 2020 zine, these pages were crafted when we were foolish enough to think the end of the pandemic was near.
